Xiaomee Launches M1 Smartphone

Xiaomi (pronounced 'shao-mee') a.k.a Apple of China is a Chinese company known for manufacturing high quality and standard products at very cheap price ('Hunger Marketing' they call it).

Xiaomi on Tuesday announced the launch/release of the company's flagship device Mi 3 in India for just $250 = INR14999(Indian Rupee) =N40768 (Nigerian Naira)

The phone packs a 5.0-inch, 1920x1080 resolution IPS panel from LG or Sharp, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC with quad-core 2.3GHz CPU and Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage (non-expandable), 13 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front camera, 3050mAh battery and MIUI 5 on Android 4.3.

The phone will go on sale starting July 15.

Xiaomi has not revealed where it plans to retail the phone but as per previous reports, it is expected to be available via e-retailer Flipkart.
It is important to note that while the Xiaomi phones don't come with the Play Store and Google apps in China, they will support them in India.
