How to Find and Remove Unwanted Apps from Facebook Profile


As a facebook member or should I say user, I can guess that you have granted permission to various apps and games to access your facebook profile. Some of this apps/ganes may start congesting your profile or simply become annoying to you.
To find and remove these apps from your profile, then read this article.

When we grant an App access to our profile, we are allowing it to post to our timeline on our behalf, at first we might be interested in what it posts, but over time we loss interest but still this app is connected to our profile, so we have to find and disable it.

HOW TO FIND AND DISABLE APPS ON FACEBOOK PROFILE.

Follow the following instructions if you wish to disable any app from accessing your Timeline/Profile.

1. First of all you have to log into your facebook.com account. Goto the facebook applications page via
www.facebook.com/settings?tab=applications.

2. After you must have been redirected to the apps page, you will see all the apps that you have granted access to your timeline.



3. Now to remove those apps that you are no longer interested in from accessing your profile, hover the mouse cursor over the desired app and click on "Remove" [cross] button that appears.

4. After clicking the "Cross" button, a confirmation box will pop up prompting you to remove, then click on "Remove" to disable the app.

The app has been successfully disabled from your profile.
Repeat the procedure for every app you want to remove.


Tip: If you don't want to remove the app from your profile but just want to prevent it from updating your profile and sending irrelevant messages, then you have to change the App's privacy. To do this, click on the desired app and select Edit and choose "Only me" from the drop down menu of "Visibility of App".

You have now succeddfully disabled the App from accessing your profile.
