Using PC as Wi-Fi hotspot Without Software

HOW TO USE UR PC AS WIFI HOTSPOT

Would you like to share your laptop or desktop computer’s internet connection with other user’s near you. 

Today I will be posting on how to use your laptop internet connection to create a wireless hotspot for other users to connect to.

If internet service is so expensive in your location and you want to reduce cost by sharing your connection with your family and friends, then this tutorial is for you.

SHARING YOUR INTERET CONNECTION WITHOUT USING ANY SOFTWARE.

Am posting this tutorial for people who find it hard using internet sharing software’s like connectify and other applications.

THE SIMPLE STEPS:
First, go to your control panel on your PC and click Network and Sharing Centre.
Click on “Set up a new connection or network”.
A pop up window will appear, scroll down and click “set up a wireless adhoc network” and click Next.

The next window is where you have to create a wireless account  with a secure passkey,

Network Name: your preferred name
Security type: WPA2-Personal.
Security key: Your preferred 8 digit passkey. 

After successful completion, click next.
On the next pop up window click “Turn on internet connection sharing”.

That’s  all.
Your PC is now serving as a wifi hotspot.

NOTE:
1. The wifi should be turned on during the entire process
2. The intended devices should have wireless service enabled on their device.
